A. and J. Doud of Briggsville contacted us to help them with several claims.

First off, they felt they had eleven spirits in their home, one of which was an evil presence and influencing their 4 year old son. They stated to us that his behavior changed drastically within days to include vulgar language, intent to injure, rebelliousness and overall misbehavior problems. They wanted answers as to why their little boy took on this sudden, almost possessed behavior.

They felt that ten of the eleven spirits were family members trying to protect them from the evil spirit. The family members are grandparents and great grandparents from both sides of the family, a cousin and a young child of the age of three. They also felt there may have been an Indian protecting the land and area in which they live.

Their claims are numerous and most are listed below.

Cold Spots, Hot Spots, Lights burning out too soon, Electronics turning off and on by themselves, Glider rocker moving from its original place, Cigar smell, Voices in the kitchen, Shadows, Male ghost seen by their 4 year old boy in the windows and in front of the fireplace. Peanut butter moving from the kitchen table to the counter top, Keys being moved on them from hooks to pockets, Coats being moved from closets to chairs, Re-appearing orbs in the same location on pictures, Their son taking on a new and nasty personality, Mood changes, Rappings and knocking noises.

The findings are as follows, note we did get 5 to 7 good EVP's so you will find that listening to them will be interesting. Some of them we had a hard time hearing and there may have been some contamination on them so those are not on the web site.

The house was originally a small log cabin and has several rooms added on but, overall very close cramped quarters leading to high EMF areas all throughout the house from the electronics possibly exposing the owners to constant higher than normal EMF exposure which can lead to many side effects such as rash, headaches, nausea, sleeplessness, restlessness, sensations of being touched, hallucinations, feelings of being watched, etc.

The cold spots and hot spots are noticeable near the heating vents when the furnace runs. We also noticed that the motor on the furnace can make some strange sounds just as it starts up and shuts down. This could possibly be the voices that they claim to be hearing.

The 4 year old boy had just recently started school and there is a 2 year old boy that requires more attention being younger and we feel that this may possibly be the cause for the 4 year old to start acting up and looking for attention. He could be picking up some ideas at school and hearing different things on the television while he is supposed to be asleep in bed.

We noticed that every time one of our investigators took pictures in the house, the flash would come into the 4 year olds room and reflect off the window latch where the same Orb keeps showing up on the owners pictures.

We feel it just doesn't make sense for ten family member spirits to all take up residency in this house. The wife's grandparents and great grandparents have no connection to this land so we can't come up with a reason as to why they would be there. If anything, it is possible for the husbands relation to "hang" around if they were being held there by a stronger or evil spirit but we think that is highly unlikely. All of our investigators were very comfortable in the house and none of the EVP evidence suggests an evil presence and we didn't get any abnormalities or anomalies on our digital cameras or digital video footage and while all the lights were out we never had a spike in our EMF detectors to give us any reason to think any spirit was present.

EVP's: We did get some EVP's that range in subject. Some answered our conversations and a few basically either told us to leave or were frustrated with us being there. The links to them are below.

So overall, we don't feel the house can be called haunted but it is pretty obvious with the EVP's that there were spirits there trying to interact with us.

This EVP says in a whisper, "No it's Not" in response to me asking another investigator if they thought the fireplace was the original to the building.

This EVP says, "I Hate This"

This EVP says, "You Will Want to Leave" right after Norb says "It's been painted you can tell"

This whisper EVP says, "Go Away"

This EVP whispers "Bad"

We also have on file EVP's that say, " Outside", ".... God", a females voice from an area where no woman was and a few other that we cannot hear clear enough to place on the site.
